APPLICATION DEADLINE HAS PASSED.
Innovation and creative transformation have always been a part of Arts Engine’s core values. Over the past eighteen months we carried out a series of planning meetings to analyze our legacy, to explore trends in independent social-issue media and to evaluate future opportunities for our role as innovators in the field. I am incredibly proud of this collaborative effort and would like to share with you one important and future-looking result.
After twelve years as co-founder and then executive director, I am changing my role at Arts Engine and will assume a new senior director position. What does this mean? In practical terms, we will search for and hire a new executive director during the next six months. In keeping with the results of our planning process to build on our greatest assets, my new role will enable me to continue to make films, raise funds and serve as a thought leader on staff at Arts Engine. This change will allow me to go deeper into these areas and more effectively help Arts Engine and the field. I’m very excited about this transformation and could not have reached this solution without the great support of many people.
Our Board of Directors has formed a search committee for a new Arts Engine executive director. Thank you for the many ways you support Arts Engine and for your continuing interest as we enter a new chapter.
With kind regards,
Katy Chevigny
Executive Director
