As the Deserts Come is a feature-length documentary about a small village of Tibetan herders and their struggle for survival against time and forces beyond their control. Set in the stark landscape of eastern Tibetan plateau, we watch members of a disappearing culture adapt and fight against the decimation of the grasslands that sustained them for generations.
